"Saving Democracy for the World"

What we need now is a fresh perspective on individual freedom and an awareness of how quickly democracy can be lost to the world if the American people fail to preserve their private and civic institutions against the rise of unfettered liberalism that feeds a growing federal state. With an increasing number of totalitarian regimes and state capitalists subverting free markets around the globe, and as young people riot in the streets at home, the Woodrow Wilson Legacy Foundation is committed to training a new generation of courageous and informed leaders who are capable of saving democracy for the world.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Fargo Board of Education Praised for Their Deliberation and Patience

BEVERLY HILLS, CA (September 1, 2020) - In a letter emailed today to Rebecca Knutson, President of the Fargo Board of Education (BOE), Donald Wilson Bush, President of the Woodrow Wilson Legacy Foundation in California applauded the Fargo BOE for its decision on August 11, 2020 to suspend action that would have immediately removed the name Woodrow Wilson from the city’s High School until a proper administrative process for renaming school buildings can be determined.

“Although, according to the rules, this motion to immediately cancel Woodrow Wilson failed by a slim margin on the account of a tie vote,” Bush stated, “the board’s decision signals a praiseworthy and courageous first step in the right direction to resist the dangerous aims of political activists currently driving the cancel culture.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wilson Family Descendant Rebukes Princeton Board for Enabling the Cancel Culture

BEVERLY HILLS, CA (August 24, 2020) - This morning, WWLF President, Donald Wilson Bush, mailed a letter to the Chair of Princeton's Board of Trustees admonishing the group for its rush to judgement in removing Woodrow Wilson's name and image from public policy school and Wilson College. The move was made in reaction to angry protests from activists energized by the "Black Lives Matter" movement. In his letter, Bush stated, "by doing this, you are now a part of the cancel culture and have forfeited your legitimate role as the stewards of an independent, public free speech forum suitable for holding the important discussion of how diverse communities can peacefully and honestly address the ways in which racism, both past and present, effects the future of our country."
